A balancing increment of progesterone and estrogen in conjunction with androstenedione/testosterone and Nitric oxide will boost prostaglandin E-1 production to allow the continuous uterine and low-abdomen expansion ( stretching the nerves without pains) for the fetal growth to the pregnancy term until progesterone suddenly drops to induce excessive cortisol and then excessive prostaglandin E-2 release for induction of labor. Please beware that Prostaglandin E-2 is responsible pre-term labor, miscarriage and cervix ripening, while prostaglandin E-2 initiates pregnancy: suppress the vaginal/cervic/uterine immune for sperm cells to survive, to fertilize the egg cells and then, to implant the fertilized egg into the uterine lining. In other words, Prostaglandin E-2 allow cells to be transplanted and to grow!
Generally speaking, excessive progesterone, without being balanced by estrogen and androstenedione/testosterone/DHT, reduces the prostaglandins E-1 and E-3 synthesis for the vulva and vaginal abrasion pains and vaginal dryness during sex, particularly with a high level of sex-induced stress-hormone epinephrine cortisol release during sex arousal or after orgasm. The excessive prostaglandin E-2 release induced by excessive vaginal/cervical abrasion and cervical/uterine contraction, in conjunction with (or as a result of ) excessive stress neurohormone epinephrine and another stressor cortisol release into in the bloodstream, can stimulate the progesterone release from the ovaries in an attempt to counterbalance the production of prostaglandin E-2. This will overload the ovarian function for the most of cases during non-pregnant condition. This is why excessive sex or orgasm can exhaust the ovarian function and will induce menstrual disorders for non-pregnant women.
